Meet Adrien

adrien garbar has always had a unique perspective, one that sometimes got him into trouble. maybe you recognize the rebellious type, the kid tapping out tunes on his desk with the teacher shushing in the background? that inherent sense of rhythm that drove his teachers crazy led him to a love of musical creation, a fanaticism for drums, and a life-long learning of several other instruments including the guitar, and piano or analogs keys.

Combining his formal training in Sound Engineering at the SAE Institute and his years of personal practice, Adrien now works directly with artists to produce both independent and commercial projects. Over 20 years in the French music scene, he has honed his skills into a career in performing, audio engineering, producing and teaching that now allows him to use his out-of-the-box thinking to bring the works of others to life. When he’s not thinking about music (if that’s even possible), he can be found mountain biking or traveling with his fiance.

Audio engineer

In the early 2000s, Adrien was active in the Paris studio scene as both a director and musician. In 2006, he graduated with a diploma in Audio Engineering at SAE Institute in Paris after realizing the importance of sound engineering in music production. Thus, Adrien has both the technical knowledge and the personal experience needed to create your next hit song or album.

Born out of the Paris music scene from the early 2000’s, his creative solutions are a testament to a foundation in experimentation.

Music producer

adrien garbar’s musical influences are rooted in sampling, as he grew up feeling a connection to the classic sounds of the 70’s and 80’s but also all musical kinds, like classical music or argentine tango, influenced by artists like bob James, roy ayers, george Benson or claude debussy and astor piazzolla, adrien drew from the sounds of hip-hop and electro. he began producing his first works in the late 90’s using some of the early production software packages.
